The Kindseat arrived this afternoon and already I've used it twice, at the height you recommend. Prior to purchase, having looked at other stools on the market, I did think that, as a complete beginner, the Kindseat would be a little too advanced for me. As you know, I'm still at the stage where I am borderline obsessing about where to place my sitting bones for a comfortable sit, so I initially thought that the Kindseat, with its potential for endless adjustment, would encourage even more fiddling! However, as it turns out, the seat is brilliant and perfect for a beginner. It is so ‘immediately comfortable' (if that makes sense) that I didn't need to think about where I'm placing my sit bones or whether I am sitting with the right degree of slope - the seat seemed to adjust perfectly to my every beginners twitch! Although the Kindseat seems a little more expensive than other seats currently on the market - I feel it is worth every penny.
I'm so pleased with my Kindseat that I wanted to give you a further update (hopefully for the benefit of anyone contemplating buying a seat). I have now used the seat, in the kneeling position, for over 15 hours since I purchased it and, in terms of comfort, it seems to get better and better! Obviously, as a beginner, I've no experience of other commercial stools or benches (as I was using my home made one) but the inherent comfort and flexible nature of the Kindseat (as it automatically adjusts to any posture correction) has helped me to worry less about posture thus enabling me to focus more on developing technique. After a 45 minute session I no longer have any lower back/hip pain, which I invariably got with my other seat. Once again many thanks.

The manufacturer of a new meditation bench, the Kindseat, kindly sent me a “review copy” a few weeks ago. I’ve sat on nothing else since I received it, except when I’ve been visiting my local Dharma center, and the only reason I haven’t taken it to my local Dharma center is absent-mindedness. This is, I’m quite sure, the last meditation seat I will ever buy. It’s the ultimate in meditation hardware.

The Kindseat is a masterpiece of ingenuity solving many of my posture problems when meditating. The alterable height and the various positions it offers has made even day-by-day changes to my sitting posture possible; maybe the weather or some physical discomfort makes me less flexible at times and I can alter the seat easily now I have got the hang of it. The foremost reason I bought seat was to take on a pilgrimage to India with me as it breaks down into manageable, portable pieces; I can imagine sitting on my Kindseat on train platforms as well as in temples and at Bodhgaya under the Bodhi tree !
The Kindseat arrived, and I have to say I'm stunned. It's amazingly lightweight and very comfortable. I can even comfortably sit cross-legged on it and I can't sit cross-legged. Not ever. This is going to be my regular meditation bench from now on.
Anyway, wow! Just, wow!
B- seemed to think it rather expensive, but I was too late with the rejoinder that it cost about the same as 30 cups of coffee, which some people easily do in a month. I am now considering carefully whom to leave it to in my will.

I'm really happy with the kindseat. I was at the mens event at a retreat centre a couple of weeks ago, and the contrast in the long double sits compared to the previous visit when I used the little stool I made myself was remarkable. Perfectly comfortable for the best part of a couple of hours.

The seat looks good. The wood especially looks well crafted and finished. I may put a small hand towel over the seat pad as we are heading into our summer so rear ends can get a bit sweaty at this time of year. I have assembled it easily and am looking forward to trying it out later. I like the idea that one seat will allow for both kneeling and sitting crossed legged.

'This is carefully designed and beautifully made; I use my Kindseat for sitting cross-legged, but it is just as good for kneeling.'
All the best, Priyananda
I found it easy to adjust and comfortable in both kneeling and sitting positions. I like the ability to make minute adjustments to the height and find it amazing how much difference even a half centimeter makes. Thank you for making it adjustable.
Just want to say that this meditation stool, hands down, is the best product on the market for sitting meditation. I've tried everything, and this is the most comfortable and adjustable tool out there. It's worth every penny!

Just wanted to thank you. The Kindseat has initiated a quantum leap in my meditation practice. After years and years of struggling to find a stable posture in Full Lotus, and trying out numerous arrangement with pillows etc.– I am finally able to "just sit".
The concept is absolutely brilliant, the design dedicated to application without any unnecessary elaboration, all produced in high quality.
Today I received the parcel. It looks great and more importantly has helped me considerably improve my posture. Just finished a meditation session and there was no back pain whatsoever. The meditation was much more enjoyable. Thank you so much.
Struggled with getting comfortable either kneeling, sitting cross-legged, propped up with cushions, leaning against a wall, tried a camping seat, a regular chair; everything! I was initially put off Kindseat by the price but eventually asked a friend if I could try hers for a while. Once I'd used it for a week, I had to invest in one of my own! The tilt on the seat is the thing Thank you very much.

I came across the seat when looking for an alternative to my cushions. I had been having issues with cramps, discomfort and generally feeling unhappy with how my practice was going. I looked at options and came across this seat. It was the best decision I made when I purchased this. I have found it has eliminated any problems I was having. The way the seat moves to your requirements and is stable at the same time is great. It is light weight and portable - this is one of the best products out there. Don't be put off by the price. Save up and buy this seat. You deserve it!

The Kindseats arrived today. We are ecstatic. So easy to assemble, adjust and carry. So easy to sit upon,
Many thanks for your haste on our behalf.
May your endeavour thrive and may you prosper in whatever you need most.

I've had Kindseat now for almost a week and it's such a great product! The whole setup was really intuitive, although you had packed nice instructions.
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my Kindseat at the weekend retreat day. It feels like sitting four square whilst also slightly floating!
